We take our environmental responsibility seriously and are fully committed to leaving the planet in a better place than we found it. Every choice we make is methodically and thoughtfully made with this promise in mind: from the design and manufacturing, right through to the packaging our garments are delivered in.
DESIGN AND MANUFACTURING
Our materials are scrupulously hand-picked for their outstanding performance, superior quality and kindness to the planet. Crafted using the finest recycled Italian lycra with ECONYL® regenerated nylon, our iconic designs are environmentally friendly, durable, dependable and versatile. The material’s high level of UV-protection and excellent resistance to chlorine, salt water, sun creams, oils and even pilling extends the life of your swimwear, retaining its shape and giving you a brand-new look and feel for many seasons.
A minimal waste approach is essential to us and can be witnessed throughout our entire manufacturing process. Conscious in our designs, we utilise every piece of fabric, and off-cuts are adapted for additional pieces wherever possible. Using regenerated nylon gives us the rare opportunity to continually recycle, recreate and remould our fabric, further utilising waste and preventing it from polluting the planet. Our garments are never mass produced; we’re mindful of our environmental footprint and keep our stocks low.
PACKAGING
When it comes to sustainability, we believe packaging is just as important as the garment itself. Our products are carefully and consciously wrapped using low impact materials, with CO₂-neutral paper and tags which are Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver and have therefore been produced using minimal water consumption. We’re constantly reviewing and evolving this process, seeking out the most innovative eco-friendly options available – that’s our promise.
